GUITARISTS IN THE MAKING
The choir started learning instrumentals and started with guitars. The children are really happy to learn and are aegarlly waiting for other types of instruments to come their way. There are five children very interested to learn how to play the guitar, but the others also have to learn because it is the only one available at the moment. We hope that very soon they will be having a guitar as an accompaniment for the songs we sing. Their teacher Mr. Mark explains that, having them with real guitars helps them learn both practical and theory as they have the two guitars already. We hope that very soon we will acquire more so that more children will hold and handle their guitars.

He also has to write this down

GUITARS FOR A START. FINALLY HERE
These are the beautiful guitars that we have this new year. We are proud that the children will have a fantastic opportunity to train on rare skill here in kibera. We are so greatful to Mr Jorgen Skaarup his wife Inge Jorgensen and their son Mathis Salcheu, mad this possible. We are going to need teachers who can volunteer their time with us and teach those children that are so happy that instruments are available now.
We are greatful to the almighty God that He has made this possible. It has been the desire of my heart to have a choir and a band. This is the beginning of the journey and we know that with time the almighty God shall from somewhere provide us with other instruments like, piano, violin, drums, saxophone, flute. It will be joyful when all th choir children can play an instrument and learn the fundamentals of good music.

HELLO CHRISTMAS..... WELCOME HOME
THE AMAZING CAMP
Hi guys, we are sorry we have been silent for a while. But after the long silence bring you good news of the festive season that is filled with glitter and glow for the choir members who closed several weeks ago and are on holidays.
We never the less did not want our holiday to be so boring , we therefore organised a one week camp and collaborated with Auntie Mercy's children. Auntie Mercy has been helping in the training for the choir kids so that we could perharps perform.
These are all the happenings for the one week camp that we have had since 3rd to 8th December at Nairobi Missions Church.
DAY 1
We introduced ourselves to the over fifty children in attendance and told them that we(Aunty Eunice,Nelson and Aunty Mercy) would be their facilitators for the whole of the week and we would have lots of fun.
DAY 2
Day two was made up of games and Nelson was in the fore front of the games.
We first started with a soccer game for the boys

Then came the basket ball games. This girl was so excited to the goal post for her team( soldiers of christ)
They won the basket ball game with four points.
We are thankful to God for his gift of christmas.
WE WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS.
